There is also a photocopy of a letter from Dr. Samuel Belkin, New York, to Daniel Lewin, London, of September 13, 1946 expressing an interest in acquiring Louis Lewin's collection for Yeshiva University. A letter from Isaac Lewin, New York, to Daniel Lewin, May 11, 1948, confirms the receipt of trunks of the Louis Lewin collection at Yeshiva University. A catalog of Swann Auction Galleries pertains to an auction to be held on February 15, 1951 where books from Louis Lewin's library were on sale. Some of the items are photocopies of articles by Louis Lewin and a handwritten eulogy for him by Rabbi Dr. M. Kahn. Also included is a copy of The Jewish herald: organ of the new Zionist organization of Southern Africa, Johannesburg, S.A., January 24, 1941.
